Amanda Kerley
General Manager, Qualified Builder
Amanda is the General Manager of Whippet Developments and plays a key role in the day-to-day running and success of the business.
With a background as a qualified Legal Executive, she has been involved in running successful businesses from a young age and brings a high level of organisation, structure, and commercial awareness to every project.
Amanda oversees the financial side of the business - managing budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring projects stay on track with nothing slipping through the cracks. She is also involved across all stages of a build, from initial design through to coordination, logistics, and delivery on site.
As a trade-qualified carpenter, Amanda brings practical, hands-on building experience to everything she does, giving her a strong understanding of both the technical and on-site aspects of each project.
She is a strong advocate for women in the trades and is passionate about encouraging more women into the construction industry, leading by example both on site and within the business.
Kaden Wenham
Senior "almost there" Apprentice
Kaden started with us as a gateway student from school and has since progressed into a full-time apprentice after completing his Level 2. It didn’t take long to see he was a great fit for the team — even after we put him through the usual first-year tests like chasing a “left-handed screwdriver” or a bag of “blue sparks” from the suppliers.
Hardworking and reliable, Kaden takes real pride in his work and isn’t afraid of a big day on site. Whether it’s the smaller tasks or the more demanding jobs, he gives it his all.
He’s developed into a dependable team member who contributes strongly to the culture on site, and he’s someone we know we can rely on — a valued part of the Whippet team with a strong future ahead of him.
